Environmental Health - Private Water

Water well permits ? Any property owner intending to construct, develop, alter or seal a private water system or have such operations performed by another person, must apply for a permit from the Preble County General Health District.  A fee schedule is available upon request.

Well Water Samples - Water samples may be taken in existing wells and tested for bacteria and nitrate
content. Contact the Health District at 937-472-0087 for fee schedule.
